The software allows the user to set up a table against opponents with a range of profiles, so that in principle one can simulate game conditions comparable to your regular game. I’ve started playing poker again after a years long break. Long ago, I swore by Turbo Texas Holdem by Wilson Software. I think it was first of its kind in terms of tutorial software, fully customizable conditions to test yourself, and results tracking. It doesn’t look like that company (or product) exists anymore.
