The Village de Noël de Montreal is back again this year and if you've been dying to get yourself to a Christmas market in Montreal, Atwater market is the spot for you. For the third year in a row, Montreal's Atwater market is going to transform into a Christmas village, with lights, trees, bonfires, and music.
The space really does transform into a magical Christmas wonderland for people of all ages - plus dogs are allowed, and it's a super accessible space. This means anyone can brave the cold and come join in the festivities.
Montreal really has a knack for facilitating outdoor experiences, especially in the winter, and the Village de Noël de Montreal is no exception. The event hosts countless vendors who sell their goods under the falling snow, from cookies and jams to handmade ornaments and more, meaning Christmas shopping just got a lot more magical.
Plus, you can officially start planning your first visit, because the market opens this Friday, November 29, 2019, at 5 p.m., so if you don't have plans this weekend - here you go.

Admission is free, so even if you just feel like going down for a stroll to get yourself in a festive mood and maybe warm your hands by a fire, you can!
But don't be surprised if you're tempted to scoop up something for a stocking-stuffer, or maybe just a treat to eat.
The full list of vendors has yet to be released on their website, but on Facebook, they've begun to share some of the goods you can expect to buy. Things like artisanal soaps, organic and natural wellness products, candles, and more.

Both the workshop and the show with surprises are free for kids to participate and will run four times a day. Get more info at the Facebook event page here.
On Sunday, December 22, they will host The Grand Ball where there will be a Feast of the Elves and a chance to meet Santa between noon and 4 p.m.
